actually john, the streaks in our hair are a product of having two copies of the recessive gene encoding hair streaks. Both our parents have only have one copy so their hair is "normal." What will be interesting is Stu and my children, because he has striped hair (for real).

The one on the left! I know the anwer because she is the one with different colored streaks in her hair. Just like you!
Oh! One question! Why does she have blonde streaks and you have red? Do you get the red from your mom or dad?
